- 內容摘要說明：Attended to the Hos….Dr. R. being away. Saw a large number of Patients. Met with the students to consult about self-support etc. In the eve. again met with them for reading and prayer. Read the "Nineteenth century"' "One day"' "Harper's New Monthly" etc. One steamer came in and brought mail…Barley looks fine and is early three feet high' so too wheat and Oats. All from Canada' from the old homestead. Cabbages' beets etc. in our garden look very well. How comfortable' now compared with early times here….Dandelions are out in full bloom and the thistles are so lovely…Flowers amongst the glass are also in bloom.
