- 內容摘要說明：Look a course winding round the base of the mountains and arrived at Toa-kho-ham in good time. Extracted many teeth' house rented for chapel small. Owned by a savage woman who years ago became civilized' came out and bought this house… Lord's Supper at Toa-kho-ham for the first time In the eve. just 12 converts including the students in the chapel' those with me a messenger from Bang-kah and converts who chanced to be in town. The house was full of hearers with 21 savages standing near me. Amongst them were several boys from the mountains who have been studying Chinese…We observed the Lord's Supper in the presence of such a crowd. All maintained good order. Afterwards I exhibited my galvanic battery and it amazed all beyond measure… "Well" said one savage boy "We ought to worship what the wise men who made such a wonderful instrument worship." Some Chinese around did not appreciate the remark… We visited a curious hill with temple on it. Tieu-chho-sau' exactly like the "froves"' high places mentioned in the Bible.
