- 內容摘要說明：A young man came from the East coast(Kap-tsu-lain) with a wife older than himself. This custom of the Pi-po-hoan is very wrong…abominable! No money no ceremony needed' meet and drink liquor and the girl becomes wife at once' but alas! Only for week or two then they part' without any real cause whatever. She mother in law is nearly always at the bottom of parting. Wives too easily got are too easily dismissed without any shame. At every station I warned parents Elders and Deacons to stop such proceedings. Till this case comes before us discouragement! I know thee not again we will discipline again rebuke…again exhort and again labor on to build up the church of our Lord Jehovah…I how loose these people lived! I am so thankful all confess it was a bad custom' but they don't get over it in a day. Now beloved jewel patience' come again to our relief that we may fight the faith through clouds and sun shine…
