Walking through the town of Ho-be saw a mother with bound feet chase her son about 12 years of age so to beat him' the bamboo an inch thick and four feet in length was in her hand. She caught him at last and down went the stick on head' hands' face' back etc. with tremendous violence. His screams could be heard a long distance. Neighbors interfered and the now Mad. Infuriated Mother began to pull out her own hair with yells. She was soon overpowered by her husband who appeared on the scene. Spoke of same in the eve. In College…
