- 內容摘要說明：Rain came down in floods last night when going to the Col. I spoke on god's creation on the sun' moon' stars etc. After worship read Drummond's "Natural law etc.…" also Cassels' Natural History of the Bible' L.E. about God creating "herbs" etc… Got one student to dissect the scaly ant eater' found the stomach nearly full of ants' especially their heads. These ants must have been very large size' stomach' liver' lungs and heart etc…were all beautiful in appearance' fat was found under the skin just like a Racoon in Canada… The skin was removed' stuffed and placed in my museum room. Another steamer came in from Shanghai… Spent from 1 p.m. to 3 in the Hos…. Dr. Rennie absent' saw an interesting fellow from Anhwei on the mainland. He came to the examinations in Lai-pak-fiu. Seemed much interested in the gospel. But worldly ambition is the idol just now. Wet again in the afternoon. Spent some time in Col. with the students. Several of them spoke in the eve. After returning sat in my upper room reading and writing till 11p.m. Watched a large black cat on the top of the house so tiger like seeing pigeons or sparrows. Now halting…Now crouching and now leaping and seldom missing. A student mounted the top and drove it away. Drummond is good to sleep on? Rather think on' it is grand! Done for tonight.
