- 內容摘要說明：Heat most oppressive although wind blowing quite a gale' all day spent in meditation and also in walking around on the College grounds. Charming oleanders out in blossom on the grounds. Several steamers in port. All busy with tea from the hill now…At noon went to the Hos. Dr. Rennie absent. Not very many new Patients. Spoke in the Col. on Judges. I: 7. Then on coming back into the house found an enormous swarm of white ants that came up through a hole in the hall floor. Two lamps were on the table and two large tubs near by to put them in as it was not full of water. Nearly 2 inches thick.
