- 內容摘要說明：At 9 a.m. took a dozen preachers and students to see the gun-boat "Rattler". The Consul. Mr. F. L. A. Bourne was there with a military mandarin inspecting the ship. So the commander gave orders to prepare for action. Splendid discipline' wonderful activity! Then the gunner took us all round the ship and showed us the machine guns' Nordfelten guns etc. Rain poured in torrents and after seeing all we returned. All were amazed with what they saw. In the eve. at Col. four Christian men from the gun boat sang many hymns after I spoke on Luke 6:38 had a bushed drawn on the blackboard. We were all charmed with the men singing etc…Jamiesons present.
