- 內容摘要說明：Preachers and students preparing for debate. All spent the day very busy pacing the Col. grounds and I occupied myself with mission work and preparing notes on subjects for the coming week. Look a long walk and gathered a number of interesting specimens at the sea-side' all of which were of the sponge family. Came back and read Geikie's Geology. In the eve. examined the writing of students etc. Sang for a long time and heard the preacher's wifes in the Col. read Rom. Col. Sat up late at night writing and meditating on god's wonderful creation etc. Warm Weather. 17 years ago to-day landed at Tamsui.
