- 內容摘要說明：Arose at 2: 30 A.M. and got ready to start about 4 A.M. Rev. Mr. Thow arose and escorted us-all was dark as we made our way over paths and fields. -- Torches were made of tall reeds and on we went midst mushes trees' and grass covered with heavy dew. I conversed most of the time about mission work. We traveled a good long distance before daybreak and at 7 A.M. we parted. Mr. Thow returned to Lai-sia-- at Tang-lo-oan the same old man was soon out again taking me to other friends-We extracted Several teeth and hastened to Ba-li where in A Seng's Shop. He being a convert from Au-lang. Passed through Sin-kang' being begged to go - fully 15 were seen for sore eyes. Ophth' Gran. Now the wind was terrific and right in our faces' blowing the Sand with terrible violence into our eyes etc. Old times revived. Many a sore trip I have had over these Sand hills- Arrived ar Tiong-kang at 5 P.M. and saw many Sick people-- Theie Idols big Koan Im' Tso-su-kong and Ma-cho-po were given me from a house in the town. I preached on Malachi 1: 10-Intense interest Shown by a Jammed house 160 Bap. 9. Ordained one Deacon. Commemorated the dying love of Jesus-Then address the people on the great significance of the sacrament and the simplicity thereof.
