- 內容摘要說明：Quite cool throughout the night. Arose early and spent some time in my garden examining vegetable growing and the insects on the tender leave eating away. Hard to keep clean--- Examined Several essays of Students- at one P.M. took several down to the Hospital to assist. Dr. Rennie present. One man who was operated upon under chlorform ceased breathing all at once. There was no beating of the pulse. We put him on his back and worked his hands and rubbed his ribs till life revived-wonderful- At 5. P.M. Petersen brought a Captain' wife and another man to see my museum room etc. Taught two hours afterwards- F.S.A. Bourne (Consul) Sick-A Hoa Sick' Lien Ho Sick' Bella Caty sick.
