- 內容摘要說明：Rain pour down throughout the night in torrents at times and this morning the two mountains tops were covered with clouds- Winter looking indeed. Had Tan-He drilling in writing etc. a good long time last night- Spent some time looking over Jamiesons letters. Arranged mission matters and when at dinner the British .Consul and Mr. Lens of Le Praik & Co. accompanied by Major Mackenzie Churchill' Northampton shire Reginment( late 58th ) called. So that the later might see my museum room. The first two saw all several times before still much interested. The Major delighted. Worship in the eve.- Called on Li-ko-kang the oldest and best mandarin friend I have.--- Seriously ill. Jamieson himself went to Tsui-tui chapel (Ho-be) but sat didn't preach. Rev. Tan-He asked him several times.
