- 內容摘要說明：Thiam-kui the Kelung preacher arrived here and said his wife died last Sat. 22 Inst. She thanked all around for their kindness then said " I am going to heaven' peace to you all" and uttered not a single word more. On the 26th the Preacher's father and mother coming here from Kelung were taking the infant with them; but only got one mile on the road when it died. So the poor fellow is lonely enough. Still wonderful how he keeps up. From Students went down with me to the Hospital. Saw 80 patients counting new and old. Dr. Rennie came in at close and operated on a few-Jamieson asked to come over about their troubles- Asked Mr. Jamieson what a main-land preacher (we have two men born there) would mean " Goa-e Kan-nga" he answered " olive oil"!!! It means " My boy" Son etc. Rain
