- 內容摘要說明：Sun-a and myself went through Ho-be where I spoke for sometime' then we proceeded along the rivers bank and all around Kan-tau Spoke about the everlasting Gospel of Jesus of Nazareth. One fellow said " Hallow! A barbarian has come". A crowd gather around I said " what pole is that there ? ( telegraph near by ) " O its one the telegraph line" " Do you see the letters flying past?" " O no" " How is it done"? don't know" " who made the whole thing?" great laugh " Come now who are the barbarian' the ignorant etc. One of the crowd " We are the fool's children compared to the skill and wisdom of you foreigners' it is not right to call your people barbarians! Very good' see here' I tell you that gods of camphor wood etc. can't help you' you should worship the One True God of heaven. When humbled the Divine Spirit is more likely to bring light into darkened souls- How civil the people are compared with 12 or 13 years ago- Evening met in my study room and had a pleasant time-
