- 內容摘要說明：Made many enquiries about pressing the heads of Savages. No one could tell the reason why. I suspect that the General gave orders to do So in case some in Peking ( where plotting is rampant) Should deny the fact what he is really pressing inwards. At day- break Started and at 9 A.M. we got to Tho-a-hng and by heading the drum soon had a full house with Several of our people who came out to town hearing I was going to preach. We had a splendid service. Extracted many teeth 10: 30 A.M. Set off again and at 12:30 am in the Inn at Tiong-lek.
