- 內容摘要說明：Had a bad attack felt as if dying' hands and feet cold' heart flatting. Called on Theng' one call brought him when with coat off himself and Chiet-a and Sun-a rubbed hands and feet until warmth returning. I never was so near the dark valley. I was conscious and ready to go. What scenes passed before these eyes' the cold sweat of death was coming out clammy and not like ordinary sweat already I was cold and stiff up to my thighs. All the heat Seemed to gather into my poor head. I recovered and felt as if risen from among the dead. Poor Sun-a never left me day or night. Mrs. Mackay Slept on the floor wearily?. Spent another sleepless night.
