- 內容摘要說明：Wet and windy very disagreeable. Started at 9 A.M. took rice and salted turnips for breakfast. Path very slippery and muddy. At 12 A.M. entered the Tiong-kang chapel. Was much pleased with everything so clean and tidy. Took rice and salted for dinner and left. Waded barefooted through 3 feet of water' the rain pouring all the time. At 5 P.M. arrived at the Au-lang chapel. Found things not satisfactory. Never' never discouraged though. Such is life ! Rented house for ten years. Preached in the streets' perhaps took sharp well' how frail we are !
