- 故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁34&*故宮書畫圖錄，第十六冊，頁179-182&*蘇漢臣(西元十二世紀)，河南開封人，曾任宣和畫院待詔。，北宋亡於金後，南宋紹興年間又進畫院復職。師劉宗古。工畫道釋，人物臻妙，尤善嬰孩。本幅描繪春、夏、秋、冬四時百童嬉戲情景，有盪鞦韆、騎木馬、下棋、釣魚、採荷、撲蝶、鬥蟋蟀、踢球等等各種遊戲。戶外庭院，四季景色分明，孩童盡興玩耍，個個天真活潑。舊傳為蘇漢臣之作。&*Su Han-ch'en was a native of K'ai-feng, Honan. He served as a Painter-in Attendance in the Imperial Painting Academy at the end of the Northern Sung (960-1126), and he continued in this capacity at the Southern Sung (1127-1279) court. He was skilled at painting religious subjects and figures, especially children. The scroll depicts a panoramic scene of one hundred children overflowing with mirth in various settings in each of the four seasons. Young boys are swinging, riding wooden horses, chasing butterflies, fishing, boating, romping with masks and kicking balls.
