- 中文說明:竹編的雞籠，竹篾編成籠形後，不收口，而將長出的竹篾綁在一起作為籠口，一般這樣的雞籠只能關一隻大雞，主要是手提方便，但在結婚時的帶路雞則關兩隻或做兩個小形的雞籠各關一隻。本件文物完整。
- 日文說明:竹箆で籠の形に編みあげた後、残りの長い竹箆を結びつけて籠の口を残す。このような鳥籠は普通大きい鶏を一羽入れるだけ、持ち運びが便利であるからで、ただ結婚式の先駆けとなる鶏は二羽入れる。この品は完全なもの。
- 英文說明:This bamboo chicken cage is plaited out of bamboo strips. There is no finished opening; rather, the long ends of the bamboo strips form the opening. Most chicken cages of this sort were intended to hold a single bird, and were mostly for ease in carrying the animal. However, for weddings, two chickens were put in such a cage together, or two such cages were used. The example displayed here is complete.
