- 種命名者:Mohanasundaram, M.
- 簡介:"體呈梭狀，雌性體長約156μm， 雄性體長約135μm，硬皮板呈五角形，在每一邊的前端及側邊各具有三凸起，硬皮板網紋中線缺乏，臨中線完整，在基部2/3及端部相交，各形成一橢圓形及菱形脊起，在中央橢圓形脊起內有許多短縱線，亞中線缺乏，背毛瘤長如鞭狀，在末端澎大，靠近硬皮板後沿，背毛缺乏，足部節正常，足毛正常，基部區域光滑，，羽爪為單形，具五裂，後體部背板有一中央脊起延至體末端，側面具延伸脊起，第一腹毛瘤及毛缺乏，性蓋具有二列，每列有許多條縱脊，棲息於蘭嶼蘋婆（Sterculia ceramica ）及皮孫木 ( Pisonia umbellifer)葉背上，無明顯為害症狀，分佈於臺灣蘭嶼及印度。Body fusiform shaped, female 156μm long, male 135μm long, shield pentagonal, with 3 projections at anterior and lateral on each side, design with a rhombic ridge anteriorly and with elliptical ridge medially which having short longitudinal ridges at inner, scapular tubercles slightly tapering from base and bulging at tip, set near rear shield margin, setae absent, leg segments normal, coxal area smooth, empodium simple, 5 rayed. Opisthosoma dorsum with median ridge extending towards rear, laterally with extended ridges, the first ventral tubercles and seta missing, coverflap with several double rows of longitudinal ridges. Infesting on lower surface of Sterculia ceramica and Pisonia umbellifera, no apparent damage was observed. Distribution at Taiwan (Lanyu) and India."
