- 簡介:"體呈紡棰形，在硬皮板及後體部背面有臘，雌性體長約122μm， 雄性體長約104μm，硬皮板網紋中線缺乏，臨中線呈U型，背毛瘤在硬皮板後沿之前，背毛向中後，足部節正常，前脛節毛缺乏，基部區域光滑，羽爪為單形，具六裂，後體部背板有一凹槽，腹毛完整，性蓋具有約23條縱脊，棲息於芒果（Mangifera indica,）葉背上，無明顯為害症狀，分佈於臺灣。本種與S. pagonis Keifer, 1979相近似，且二種共存於嘉義大埔的芒果葉背上。Body spindle, with wax on shield and dorsal opisthosoma, female 122μm long, male104μm long, shield design with median line absent, admedian lines U-shaped, scapular tubercles set ahead of rear shield margin, setae directed to rear, leg segments normal, foretibial setae absent, coxal area smooth, empodium simple, 6 rayed. Opisthosoma dorsum with median trough, ventral setae normal, coverflap with about 23 longitudinal ridges. Infesting on lower surface of Mangifera indica, no apparent damage was observed. Distribution at Taiwan. This species is close to S. pagonis Keifer, 1979. These two species were found coexisting on the leaves of mango trees at Tapu, Chiai."
