英文摘要:Dance is one of the origins of the human art and culture; it is an art of spirit. Due to the changes of the Taiwan’s aborigine’s traditional culture, the information on dances requires detail recording to ensure its preservation. The main topic of this research is to create a record and analysis of the overall dance movement and style. The researcher gains understanding of the Paiwan tribe’s culture through literature review and interviews conducted during the field work. Using Labanotation, written remarks and pictures simultaneously for the dance recording and integrating Sanchez-Colbert ‘s method of stylistic macrostructural analysis, a dance analytical method is developed for the recording and display of the dance movement and culture characteristics, and set up a document that is suitable for the analysis of the “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance”. This will be provided as a reference for both professional and amateur researchers from different disciplines. The aims of the research are: 1. To explore the cultural characterisrics of “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance”. 2. To develop a recording method that is different from the one dimensional dance recording of the past. To integrate written explanation, analysis of movement photograph, and dance record of “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance”. 3. Applying method of stylistic macrostructural analysis for the understanding of the unique structure of the “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance” and for the interpretation of the social, ceremonial, traditional, and educational function. It is hoped that this research can establish a more complete and more international dance documentation. This research is focused on the analysis of Sung Hsien Chang ‘s “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance” (Chia-Lan Village, Chin-Feng Town, Taitung County), integrating all written documents on the culture and background of the dance, and the recording of the dance steps and movement style. This thesis will also analyze and interpret the structure of the dance movement and its style, cultural content, and its uniqueness. This research has discovered the function, meaning, and value of the dance. They are: 1. The Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance is seen as the behavior of abreaction. 2. The Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance can result in both bonding and identification. 3. The Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance provides an educational and community function. The researcher, with the sacrificial and giving heart, through the research on “Taiwan Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance” hopes to promote the meaning of the dance and the Paiwan culture, and in hopes that it can be appreciated. The researcher hopes that in the future, the rich educational function, the art and value of the “P Taiwan aiwan Tribe Wedding Dance” can be publicized to the mass. Lastly, the researcher hopes that this more complete data of “Paiwan Tribe Wedding Dance” can be used as the reference for related research and enrich the treasure of the local culture assets.
