英文摘要:There are six chapters in this thesis. Chapter One” Introduction” We explain motivation, purpose, and method of this thesis. And discuss some documents about this thesis. We analyze and reorganized these documents. We wish to show the beauty of plaque and couplets of King San-Shan Temple. And recall how the temple culture of plaque and couplets effect to the public daily life in community. People will have basic knowledge and know the importance of the culture by this thesis. We hope to provide some information about the temple’s building, history, and reason to build the temple for educational references. Chapter Two is “Formation and Spreading of King San-Shan believes in Taiwan.” We introduce the heroic history and legend to become the god of Kings San-Shan from history point view. There were the nature mountain god at first, and became the god of protecting of assart after arriving Taiwan. Finally became a god of believes of HakKanese. We also discovery the state of developing of people’s believe in King San-Shan in Taiwan. And explain how King San-Shan temple effects the civilization in HakKa immigrant’s community. Chapter Three is “Source and developing of plaque and couplets.” We discuss the meaning, source, types, and formation of sentence. And we explain the specialty of function and using on art of temple building. Chapter Four is “Characteristic of language of King San-Shan plaque and couplets.” We searched and recorded all plaques and couplets from twenty King San-Shan temples door by door in Hsinchu area and Dong-Shan Town in I-Lan County. That includes locations, history and continuing of the temples, and more important is the detail of plaque and couplets in the record. We made graphic, photos of temples, plaques and couplets in enclosure. We analyzed the meaning, classic, and art of sentence of plaques and couplets, and explain the rhyme, couple-word and so on. We categorized the connotations and meanings of command words and sentences. Chapter Five is “Discovery the culture of plaque and couplets of King San-Shan Temple.” Most people live in Hsinchu are HakKanese. We introduce the relationship between HaKka immigrants and King San-Shan Temple, management of temples and good or bad attendance at temple. And also atempt to reserch the different kinds of culture phenomenon by couplets. Chapter Six is “Conclusion.” We analyze, classify and summarize the specialties of plaques by the information we have. You will see the spirit of HakKa immigrants and King San-Shan Temple, and the immigrants became local and caring. I propose personal advice and look into the future. I wish to arouse public to think highly of temple culture and care about it by knowing the meaning of plaques and couplets as art of language. I also have some advice for education of native and language. The developing of temple depends on good management and hard working of good people.
