中文摘要:在臺灣,廟宇是人民生活中心靈寄託的場所,其所裝飾之彩繪圖像在建築中具有分出空間主從、營造莊嚴氣氛、教化普羅大眾、祈求吉祥討喜、凝聚目光焦點之涵意,傳達出中國人的價值觀與對圖像的審美。目前彩繪作品逐漸消失、畫師凋零面臨傳承及保存上的問題,因此彩繪的研究記錄工作刻不容緩。另一方面當務之急是對於現今老一輩的彩繪工作者的研究記錄較缺乏,因此對於本土彩繪畫師保存良好的作品,應儘速透過第一手訪談、圖像採樣、紀錄等方式,全面建立傳統彩繪匠師的研究資料。 本研究主要藉由了解畫師陳玉峰先生的生平及彩繪藝術創作中重要的學、經歷及創作背景,以期探討陳玉峰先生在廟宇彩繪藝術創作所呈現出來的文化內涵以及他在藝術創作背後所隱含的美學思考、時代傳承及其價值及貢獻為何,做一有系統的解釋、分析、評價、鑑賞。 本研究以歷史研究法、田野調查及訪談、風格分析及圖像分析法探查下述三項研究目的: 一、探究廟宇傳統彩繪匠師陳玉峰之生長背景與學藝過程,為其彩繪作品做一詳實的記錄。 二、分析廟宇傳統彩繪匠師陳玉峰現存廟宇彩繪作品之內涵、表現形式、施作技法與藝術價值。 三、提出對廟宇彩繪之推廣與後續研究之建議。 研究結論: 一、形式分析:(一)版面:1.於門神彩繪的版面上,以滿版構成。2.壁堵彩繪較多留白空間,以營造出整幅畫作的空間感;版面構成也盡量避免左右對稱、大小均分的形式,以免太過呆板。(二)構圖:1.擅於運用人物安排形式,凝聚目光焦點。2.擅於以人物比例大小區分地位尊卑。3.擅於運用人物動向,烘托畫面氣氛及畫面張力。4.擅於運用人物以及景物位階的高低,營造空間感。5.擅於以整體佈局的形式與比例,達到均衡的美感。6.擅於運用佈局方式擷取引申之涵義。 二、技法突破:(一)大膽使用間色,除了以六大基本色系突顯建築特色為原則,並在其中加入了間色的使用,突破了一般認知並達到創新的藝術理念。(二)提昇色相彩度,調整上色順序,提昇門神主體的色相彩度,為廟宇門神彩繪開創了新的格局。(三)在泥牆灰璧堵上嘗試運用泥塑浮雕加彩繪的新技法,使傳統壁畫突破二度空間的平面感,而有呼之欲出的立體視覺效果。 三、美學鑑賞:(一)形式美學:用「誇張前景法」、「明暗襯托法」的後退性的構圖方式,將前後距離拉大,造成「後退」的感官效果。在線條上表現出「繪畫性」的線條風格。在佈局上以對角線構圖方式,呈現出「開放性」的整體效果。(二)中國美學:在陳玉峰眾多的人物畫作中,其神態與眼神皆傳達了顧愷之「傳神論」的精神,尤其以門神畫作中武門神的神態最為傳神,與謝赫「六法」中的「氣韻生動」不謀而合。(三)工藝美學:其彩繪藝術符合工藝美學之特質,價值在於隱藏在作品之後的深層意義。 四、歷史定位:(一)時代意義:陳玉峰為傳統藝術的薪傳者,所遺留作品反映過去台灣民間文化特色,為台灣彩繪歷史上第一代本土彩繪藝師。(二)個人成就:1.符合文化傳承之價值。2.其彩繪藝術具有內在價值。3.具有草創畫稿之能力。4.作品已達到精湛技術之層級。5.引領廟宇彩繪之意念。6.突破傳統彩繪之窠臼
英文摘要:In Taiwan, temples play important roles in the livelihood. The paintings on the temples are considered not only for fortunes, education, and self- expression, but also to express Chinese culture and aesthetic values. They play important roles in the temples, such as : make serious atmosphere, education citizen, pray for good locky and concentrate people’s focus. They recorded people’s intensions on everyday livings at that time. Now, those paintings are getting lose, we are also losing a lot of skillful artisans of painting and few people want to learn such traditional skills. It is the main purpose of this thesis to review the artisan of painting, collect the works, and analyze those collected information. In this study, I intend to research Chen Yu-Feng’s whole life, the background and process of his decoration paintings. Through the systematic process of the explanation, analysis, evaluation and appreciation, I would like to discuss the cultural meanings , the implicit significance of aesthetic thought, the hand down for generations, value and contribution on Mr. Chen Yu-Feng’s decoration paintings on temples. This study adopts historial research method, field work, interview, style analysis and iconography with three major objectives. First of all, in order to full and accurate record Mr. Chen Yu-Feng’s decoration paintings, I investigate Mr. Chen Yu-Feng’s grew and painting precess. Secondly, analyze the meanings, expressional forms, painting skills and aesthetic values of Mr. Chen Yu-Feng’s decoration paintings. Thirdly, propose the suggestion of the expansion and advanced research of temple decorations. Conclusions: A. Forms analysis : (1)The layout of paintings : On Mr. Chen Yu-Feng’s decoration paintings, the layout of paintings has some principles are as follows :1.The layout on main gates paintings were fully painted.2.In order to make more space sense, the layout on the wall paintings were not fully painted, it usually remained some space. The arrangement of the charactors on the paintings were avoided to symmetrize as possible. (2) the composition of paintings : Mr. Chen Yu-Feng were very good at the following items on his composition of paintings : 1.To arrange the charactors on the paintings to concentrate people’s focus.2.To arrange the scale of charactors on the paintings to distinguish who is the lord.3. To arrange the directions of charactors on the paintings to make the paintings have the better atmosphere and tension.4.To arrange the position and level of the charactors on the paintings to make the space sense.5.To arrange the layout and scale on the paintings to make balance.6.To arrange the layout on the paintings to explain the implicit significance. B. The breakthrough of the paintings skills : (1) Tried to use the laminal colors : He not only used the six basic colors on paintings, but also used the laminal colors to make the paintings vivid. This new skill brokenthrough the traditional conception. (2) Increase the phase of colors : He changed the sequences of paintings. It can increase the phase of colors on the main gates paintings and develop a new painting method. (3) On the wall paintings, he used the decoration paintings on the clay crafts. This new method made the traditional wall paintings have 3-dimensional vision effect. C. Aesthetics and Appreciation : (1) Form Aesthetics : He used the bright-darkness contrast method and the backward vision composition method to prolong the distance. Those methods can make the backward vision effect. He also used the diagonal composition method to make the opening effect. (2) Chinese Aesthetics : The spirits of the Chinese traditional aesthetics theory were shown through the eyes of the charactors on the Mr. Chen’s decoration paintings. (3) Craft Aesthetics : The implicit significance and value were behinded in Mr. Chen’s decoration paintings, which were corresponded with the spirits of craft aesthetics. D. Historical Position : (1) Ephoch Meanings : Mr. Chen was the pioneer of Taiwan decoration paintings on temples. Through his paintings, we are acquaint with Taiwan culture in his days. (2)Personal achievements : Mr. Chen had many achievements as follows :1.His decoration paintings were correspondence with the value of culture.2.His decoration paintings had implicit value.3. He was able to create the new charactors on decoration paintings.4.His paintings were achieved to the excellent levels.5.He had the conceptions to lead the decoration paintings on temples.6.
