英文摘要:A Narrative Study of Christians’ Religious Experiences Summary This research explores how religious experiences have affected their life stories by interviewing two Christians. The interview focused on three aspects of Christianity: the background and formation of an individual’s Christian beliefs, the evolution of an individual’s attitudes towards Christianity as it has altered through time and experience, and how the beliefs in the existence of God influence on and consequently alter personal attitudes and comprehension of life. The purpose of this research is to understand Christian’s individual experiences as it relates to faith, how an individual’s behaviors and thoughts change after an acceptance of Christian tenets, and how religious beliefs affect their ways and attitudes of lives. The results of this research are as following: 1. People’s religious beliefs were affected and formed by the families they are from. The education and surrounding of their original families affect them on choosing their religions. Their fathers’ life of religion and especially, the way they carry out the tenets deeply impacts their children’s religious beliefs. 2. The concern and support of significant other people are the main backings for one person to believe in a religion. Substantial help and the trust in God give people hope and direction in their lives. 3. People bring their religious beliefs into their lives and learn from their life experiences. They adapt the morals of their religion to their lives and try to make their lives as ideal as possible. 4. Through prayers and reading the Bible, people make their own ways to connect to the Lord and find vitality and hope in life. 5. People’s beliefs in an omnipotent God enrich and fulfill their lives. They will always follow Jesus Christ. Their religion makes their lives better and more meaningful. This research shows how Christianity affects one’s way of life and its values. We hope to learn more about Christianity in a different point of view through this research. Key words:Christian, religion, baptism, Narrative Study
