英文摘要:This paper discusses rites in honor of ancestors in two Peng ancestral temple in “Beipu Town” and “Nanliao”, discusses Taiwan Peng how to remember “the family” by the performance of the ancestor worship ceremony''s, and answer the relations between “ritual performance” and “ethnic boundary”. This paper hope answer several question: First, tracks the historical context of Taiwan Peng ancestor worship ceremony, what societies and the historical perspective formed the Beipu Town Peng ancestral temple the ancestor worship ceremony to divide into three levels (the entire Taiwan ancestor worship, Chang-Hui ancestor worship, built ancestor worship)? Furthermore, discuss the ancestor worship ceremony relations between memory function and clansman''s memory.
