- 中文摘要:「釋奠」是現今祭孔大典最高禮制之祭禮方式和孔子祭典專有名稱；「釋奠佾舞」則是筆者用來專稱釋奠禮中表演的佾舞（即俗稱的六佾舞、八佾舞、丁祭樂舞、祭孔樂舞等）。本研究是基於興趣和感於文化保存的重要，經由歷史研究、田野調查和訪問法的綜合運用，以台灣地區孔子廟的釋奠佾舞之發展現況為主軸，所進行的「釋奠佾舞」相關研究的初步探討。 研究目的及範圍在於透過認識其在歷代及台灣的發展過程，並藉由文獻的整理，探討釋奠佾舞的表現內涵和方式，以建立起文化傳承的歷史觀；了解台灣民國八十九年（兼及部份民國九十年）實施概況和其所面臨的問題，並在結論時對當前釋奠與佾舞的實施提出建議，希望政府及相關單位能予以重視，並且作為未來改進和維護及發揚我傳統文化的參考；此外，記錄現有的釋奠佾舞，提供為研究或教育推廣時的參考實例。依據上述內容，筆者將本論文區分為下列六章： 第一章 緒論 第二章 釋奠與釋奠佾舞之發展與沿革 第三章 台灣地區孔子廟的建立與釋奠之沿革 第四章 台灣地區孔子廟釋奠佾舞實施現況分析與探討 第五章 釋奠佾舞實例 第六章 結論 根據研究結果可以了解，目前台灣地區孔子廟的釋奠和佾舞的實施概況整體而言雖然仍受到相當的重視，但是已失去了傳統的體制，形成了各縣市自有風格特色的局面，同時釋奠佾舞亦只被當成祭禮的儀式，其社會教育的功能已被忽視，再者，相關的研究、記錄以及推廣計劃都有所闕如，這些問題都是值得政府和相關單位重視和改進。
- 英文摘要:This research bases on the interesting and the importance of the value in cultures. By means of the historic researches, finding reports, visiting methods and synthetically study application, we attach importance to develop the axis of the Confucius Rites in Taiwan, and make a basic interrelated research in Ritual Dances. We know the history and the process of developments in Taiwan. Due to arrange documents, we research the contents and patterns in order to establish and transmit the culture of historic ideas; To understand the developments and to face with the questions in 2000(have both in 2001), besides we know a summary description of Ritual Dances and the problems, and we give some suggestions in conclusion. I do hope Government departments and interrelated apparatus can pay attention and make the references of safeguard developments. On the other hand, recording the Ritual Dances to Confucius as referring to research, educate or spread of Confucius Rites and the Ritual Dances. According to the above scopes and contents, I’ll distinguish this paper into six chapters as follows: Chapter Ⅰ Introduction Chapter Ⅱ The Development and the evolution in Confucius Rites and Ritual Dances Chapter Ⅲ The establishment of Confucius Temples in Taiwan and the Evolution of Confucius Rites Chapter Ⅳ A summary description and research of Confucius Rites in Taiwan Chapter Ⅴ The examples of Ritual Dances Chapter Ⅵ Conclusion According to the research results, we understand the summary description of the Confucius Rites and the Ritual Dances, on the whole, it should still be paid attention to study, but it lost traditional systems of organization. It takes shape as individual styles during different country towns. As the same time the Ritual Dances are repeated in the same form and the social educational functions have been neglected. Besides we lack interrelated researches, notes and extend plans. Government departments should pay attention to these problems and improve them.
