- 中文摘要:台灣地區六十太歲信仰的起源，當由太歲信仰衍生而來，其發展則約略在近二十幾年內逐漸達到成熟和興盛之地步。如今在台灣地區各大型的廟宇亦或角頭的重要廟宇或已多見其設有專門奉祀六十太歲神明的「太歲殿」空間配置。台灣地區六十太歲信仰的肇始，根據調查所得，知其多為承襲北京白雲觀「元辰殿」的設計理念而來，雖然經過二十幾年的時間推演，但是因為台灣地區社會、政治和經濟環境的不穩定因素使然，此一信仰的發展卻也藉著百姓心理因素的不安定因素而愈加蓬勃發展。如今六十太歲信仰在台灣已逐漸成為一股新興的民間信仰力量，肇始於其信仰的「安太歲」儀式更是在民間的影響性更是我們不可輕忽者。 每逢過年時分，台灣各地廟宇往往湧入大批的人潮以從事「安太歲」的信仰活動，希望藉此祈求六十太歲神明保佑自己一年的運途能夠平安順利。但實際上，六十太歲信仰雖發展如此熱絡，而其實際上的內涵，民間卻往往因其濃厚的神祕感和強烈的「神煞」性格而少討論，以致淪於迷信之譜。 因此本文最主要的目的即在探究台灣地區「六十太歲」信仰的起源和內涵，以及其中六十太歲信仰衍生而來的民俗概念為何，並以「台南都會區」為研究的場域，期求透過文獻資料的廣泛發掘及田野調查的實際分析比對，建構出台灣地區六十太歲信仰的各種風貌和實際內容。 有鑑於此，故而本文最重要的研究主軸則有三： 一、 探討「六十太歲」信仰的原始內涵和轉化傾向為何： 藉由文獻和專書中對於「六十太歲」神明起源的各類說法加以分析和考究，針對太歲神明的民俗內涵加以抽絲剝繭，將六十太歲神明與生肖、術數等各種不同領域的內容做完整的說明和論證。 二、 探討「六十太歲」信仰的祭祀情況為何： 針對六十太歲信仰祭祀空間的設計理念、神像的安排設定、祭祀儀式的多元化加以分析，並透過對於「台南都會區」內六十太歲信仰祀奉空間的全盤調查，並推論台灣地區六十太歲發展的情形。期求將六十太歲信仰的內容簡單的呈現出來，使信徒更明瞭而有所依循，不致流於迷信。 三、 探討「六十太歲」信仰衍生或未解的問題為何，並提出未來研究的方向和參考的論點以資參考： 六十太歲信仰研究在海峽兩岸皆屬於新興的議題，故而研究的深度和廣度仍屬待開發的階段，筆者亦針對研究所得之內容，對於六十太歲信仰衍生的問題和未解的問題提出個人的見解以供未來有志之士參考。
- 英文摘要:The belief of “Sixty Earth Guardian” was original from the belief of “Earth Guardian” and developed to be popular and mature in about recent 2 decades in Taiwan. Specialized spaces for “Earth Guardian Palace” exist in many large-scale temples for people’s worship in current Taiwan. According to a survey, the origin of “Sixty Earth Guardian” in Taiwan is from the conception of “Yuanchen Palace” in “Paiyun Temple” of Beijing. As time goes by, over twenty years later, this belief has been developing more and more popular since the society, political and economical condition is not stable in Taiwan. Meanwhile, people’s instable psychology caused this popular as well. The newly emerging “Sixty Earth Guardian” has becoming a folk belief gradually. Therefore, we must put emphasis on the importance of the activity “Worship the Earth Guardian”. Numbers of people streamed to different temples in Taiwan for “Pacifying Sixty Earth Guardian” activity, wishing a good luck of coming year during every New Year. However, with the hot popularity, seldom people talked about its significance because of the sense of mystery and fear to jinnee, which is the very reason superstition occurred. Therefore main intention of this paper is to research on the origin and significance of the belief of “Sixty Earth Guardian” as well as the folk conception on it. Focusing on southern part of Taiwan, with the comparison of wide discovery of literature with public opinion, we are respecting to outline the various styles and actual contents of the “Sixty Earth Guardian” belief. In respect of above mentioned purpose, this paper will focus on 3 key points: 1) Researching on the original significance and trend in the future： Various viewpoints from specialized literature books on the belief of “Sixty Earth Guardian” shall be studied and investigated to have an anatomy to the folk significance of this jinnee “Earth Guardian”. This paper will give us a complete illustration on “Sixty Earth Guardian”, Chinese Twelve Animal Symbols and sorcery from different scopes. 2) Researching on the fete status of “Sixty Earth Guardian” belief： This paper will aim at the design conception of the fete spaces, joss establishment status and multiple fete forms as well as an integrated survey on the fete space of this belief in Tainan Metropolis. Then the developing status of “Sixty Earth Guardian” belief will be learned and concluded finally. This paper is respecting that easy outline of “Sixty Earth Guardian” belief can be presented for adherents to observe, avoiding any superstition. 3) Researching on the deriving and unsolved issues and advance the future orientation for reference； “Sixty Earth Guardian” is a newly emerging topic in Cross-straits. Thus the depth and scope is still in a developing phase. The writer raises the personal viewpoint to the deriving and unsolved issues according to the conclusion of this research for future promising people’s reference.
