英文摘要:The beliefs of Hang people in Ming area represent the origin of which Taiwanese people’s folk beliefs. After Ming-Zheng Dynasty, these beliefs, which were disseminated by the pioneers of Taiwan, became the mainstream for Taiwanese people. The purpose of this research is to discuss the main perspective existed in the Taiwan. Not being disseminated by the press, or traditional ways we have disciples sincerely following the traditions, which have been disseminated and maintained by them. The interaction with Ma-zhu is as close as family ship and the interacting content has been shifted by the transactions of time and space. These transactions have to be inquired and preserved by the cultural researchers. The sample area of this research is at Yuching Village, Tainan County, a typical countryside, with over 75 percents of population of farmers. Neither the folk religious temples nor Ma-chu temples has the most intensive distribution among Tainan county. The folk belief and culture of Ma-zhu of this area will be investigated and discussed in this research. This research will focus on all cultural aspects of Ma-zhu belief after restored from Japanese Colonizing. Additionally, the transaction and the present of Ma-zhu belief during the past ten years (1993~2003) will be the other point of this investigation. How the Ma-zhu belief in Taiwanese village can originally exist in this fast and unconcerned society and can truly reflect people’s needs? This is the issue that the supporters of the temples and the ones who are concerned with folk beliefs and cultures have to investigate
