英文摘要:The Tainan Ta-Tien-Hou Temple used to be the residence of high officials in the Ming Dynasty which is defined as the national first-class historical site. The Temple not only has become one historical building but also the religious belief center for more than three hundred years so far. In particular, the Tainan Ta-Tien-Hou Temple should preserve much value in decorative art of stone-sculpture and painting. The study first features the transformations of living style of being ancestors and then investigates the effect of living changes to the decorative art of stone-sculpture and painting at the Tainan Ta-Tien-Hou Temple by the viewpoints of stone carving, wall painting, beam, colored drawing, pattern and Chinese decorative art respectively. Finally, the study further confirms that Tainan Ta-Tien-Hou Temple is much value especially in traditional arts, Chinese culture and religious conservations.
