- 中文摘要:近年來，台灣各縣市政府積極舉辦各式節慶活動，期望運用地方節慶的影響力帶動當地農業與觀光業，提升地方形象。但在節慶熱潮的背後蘊藏了耗費經費、浮華不實等問題。與當地居民的互動薄弱，更成為節慶活動的致命傷。 本研究以節慶活動與地方認同為出發點，研究節慶活動與地方認同的關係。並以大甲媽祖遶境進香活動為例，調查大甲地區的居民，探討居民對於本節慶的觀感與地方認同度。受限時間、人力之因素與確保研究可信度，調查範圍限於台中縣大甲鎮，對象為15歲以上的大甲居民。 本研究使用問卷研究的方式，共蒐集301份有效問卷，結果顯示居民多半認同本節慶帶來經濟效益，肯定文化傳承的功能，但對於增加個人收入無明顯幫助。並指出居民認同節慶活動為地方帶來良好影響，居民對地方的認同感也會提高，深以地方為榮；反之亦然。未來節慶活動的主辦單位應注意節慶活動是否得到當地居民的支持，與在地人文有密切聯繫。才能延續節慶生命力，發揮節慶的良好效益。
- 英文摘要:Dajia Mazu patrolling her territory is not only a famous Mazu celebration and activity, but also an international attraction in recent years. The celebration and rituals have become one of the most important religious events in the world. Mazu‘s patrolling and pilgrimage is the largest scale religious event in Taiwan. Hundreds of thousand believers and followers from all over Taiwan composed an immense pilgrimage procession. Some results of the research also show the benefit of Mazu’s festival is that increasing local pride, introducing new arts experiences and providing a healthy boost to the local businesses. Therefore, Mazu’s festival development is really important to local communities. The purpose of this study is to understand the attitude of place identity to local resident toward this festival . This study utilizes questionnaire survey method to survey 301 resident opinion. The study shows that the resident of Dajia are not very interest to participate in this festival .Because they thought there are many garbage in Dajia when the festival was happened. On other hand, the resident of Dajia thought there was no help to add income. Based on the results of the study, this study finds that if the resident felt more positive about the the festival, they will feel more positive about the place where the festival happened.
