英文摘要:Many precious cultural resources lost in the process of Taiwan’s rapid growth can be found in Kinmen due to its unique historic background and position; such as traditional cultural historic spots, battlefield spots, and special industrial activities, are all characteristic of local culture. In this research, through conducting investigation on local residents, we seek to discuss the development of traditional settlements culture in Kinmen after the lifting of local tourism restrictions, and also the reaction of local residents toward traditional settlements culture. The aim of this study is to determine: 1. The manner about traditional settlement culture that reflected by local residents of Kinmen. 2. To comprehend the culture development of traditional settlements in Kinmen. 3. To understand the relationship as residents refer their attitude to national park, social association, social participating, and culture maintenance. The samplings adopted by this research are cluster sampling and convenience sampling, the sampling distributing principle of which is based on the population proportion of each township and village, which we multiply by the total sum of samplings distributed, so as to decide the distributing number in each village. In the end, the total number of questionnaires distributed is 1200 copies, with 913 copies recycled, which is approximately 76% of recycle rate; among them, 780 copies are valid, which makes the validity rate of approximately 85%. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation were utilized to analyze data. The analysis result concluded as following: 1. The approval rewarded by Kinmen local resident subject to natural ecological preservation, cultural resources maintenance, advanced reach to the contribution of local integrated development. 2. The devoted contributions by social associations are deeply appreciated by local Kinmen’s residents, yet it needs to advance the influence of public affairs movement. 3. A lower participating level subject to lower social and economic background of Kinmen’s residents. 4. Based upon different social and economic background, Kinmen’ s residents taking a high account of culture maintenance realization of which maintenance skill yet leave a gap between practice and reality. 5. The four interfaces of attitude to Kinmen National Park, attitude to social association, attitude to social participation, and attitude to culture maintenance consist of a conspicuous liner connection. Based on the results of this research, we propose associated suggestions, hopefully to reactivate the traditional settlements culture of Kinmen, and contribute to overall local development.
