英文摘要:This study establishes the correlative architecture between culture property preservation and regionality on the basis of theories related to cultural property preservation and writings on regionality as well as the viewpoint of cultural recognition. By going through collections of historical materials and field investigation to understand the development of Tong-Shiau Rural Township, Miaoli County, and the historical background and restoration process of Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja (shrine), this studies attempts to define the probable correlation between Tong-Shiau streets and Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja in the historical pulse. Finally, by combining the above-mentioned viewpoint, this study interprets the regional connotation for preservation of the Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja – Martyr’s Shrine and the historical meaning of the form of preservation, following review of the correlation of related figures, religions, tectonics and regionality of the post-war reconstruction of the Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja – Martyr’s Shrine and comparison with re-construction projects of other martyr’s shrines. This study further explores the correlative structure of the Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja – Martyr’s Shrine after switch of administrations and transformation of daily life in the form of space-time. Finally, by virtue of related historical dialecticals, this study explores the construction, meaning of its era, regionality and diversified preservation form of the Tong-Shiau Jin-Ja – Martyr’s Shrine in relation to the regional connotation in the course of its preservation so that future scholars may use for their study. In response to the urge of “original appearance” mentioned in the preservation method for culture property preservation as well as “heyday preservation” and “preservation of residual historic monuments”, this study further presents the viewpoint of “diversified relocation” so that there will be no disruption of the heritage in related historical pulse in the course of culture property preservation and its reuse period.
