中文摘要:永靖鄉位於彰化平原中心偏東南,處於濁水溪的漫流區,原是洪雅族大武郡社的活動範圍,本地區地勢低平,排水不易,水患頻仍,不利耕種。移入本地區的漢人以粵籍客人為主,大約在康熙末年至乾隆初期入墾,在水利未興之前,粵人採季節性墾殖方式,墾民通常於春初來台耕種,歲終還粵。在十五庄圳興築完成後,旱田改良成水田,土地可以長期使用且生產量穩定才定居下來,沿水圳兩側形成成條狀村落。 雖然拓墾的環境非常惡劣,但粵人憑其勤勞與堅忍之精神建立自己的家園。嘉慶十八年粵籍移民因「粵莊人稠地密,趨赴各市維艱」,共同集資於關帝廳莊前,建立新街市-永靖街。但因處於泉、漳二大異籍人群的優勢圍繞下,每當有族群的衝突對立事件時,粵人的身家財產與生存常遭到極大的威脅及損失。 同治年間,戴潮春案平定後,台灣社會發生轉變,分類械鬥減少,同時本地區兼具聯莊保路與宗教性質的「七十二庄」組織,也發揮相當大的安定作用。七十二庄是由不同祖籍人群粵籍和閩籍人民所組成,藉宗教進香及建廟活動,增進彼此感情與認識,這是人群的融合,也是閩粵人群走出分類械鬥的痛苦經驗,邁向和平共存的命運共同體。特殊鄉音永靖腔是一個融合閩南話與客家話的地方次方言,其形成背景與永靖地區社會發展有很深的關係。永靖腔的形成不僅是語言的融合,也具人群融合的意義。 本文研究的目的有三:一、探討清代永靖地區漢人移墾與永靖街的建立情形; 二、探討來此拓墾之閩粵移民如何由不穩定與衝突邁向穩定與融合,以及宗教組織如七十二庄所扮演的角色; 三、探討永靖特殊鄉音永靖腔的形成與發展過程。希冀透過此研究能重塑永靖地區在清代移墾社會生活風貌與變遷,並且提供日後鄉土教學活動教材的參考資料。
英文摘要:Yong Jing Township is in the southeast of central Chang Hua County. It located in the slow flowing area in Zouo Shui River where was originally in the range of Da Wu Jun Village, Hong Ya Aboriginal Tribe. The topography here is flat and low and it has difficulty of drainage. Thus, flood is frequent seen and with disadvantage of farming. The immigrants were mainly Hakka-Cantonese in the late rulership of Emperor Kan Xi to the very beginning of Emperor Chian Long around 1700. Before developing the drainage system, Cantonese cultivated farms seasonably. The cultivators came to Taiwan in early spring and back in winter. After No. 15 Canal was built, Cantonese changed dry farm lands into paddy filed. They did not settle down until the availability of farm usage and the stability of agricultural products. Narrow villages are along the sides of this canal. Although the farming environment was truly dangerous, Cantonese established their own homeland with diligence and persistence. In 1813 (Emperor Jiang Ching ,Ching Dynasty), the Cantonese concentrated funds in front of Guang Gong Temple and then built a new street, Yong Jing St., because of the heavy population and traffic inconvenience. But surrounding with the superiority of Chuang Tribe and Zhang Tribe, Cantonese people were subjected an enormous threat and lost between their own protecting properties and living especially when tribe conflicting fights occurred. In the ruling period of Emperor Tong Zhi, Taiwan society changed and there were less tribe fights after the case of Dai Chao Chun. Meanwhile, the “No. 72 Village”, a protective and religious organization gathering by Cantonese and Fukien people in this area. Through religious worship and building temples, people developed the relationship between different tribes. This is a sign of integration. And it helped both Cantonese and Fukien people get rids of those terrible experiences which were caused by conflict and fights and lead a peaceful community. Yong Jing accent combined with Fukien and Hakka folk language. The form of Yong Jin accent is not a combination of language but also the meaning of integration. The main purposes of this research are below: First, discuss the development of Yong Jing St. when Chinese people immigrated in Ching dynasty. Second, this research focus on figuring out the reason of how the Cantonese and Fukien people conquered the conflict and led to the integrating steadiness and besides, finding the role that religious organization played like No. 72 Village. Third, the discussion of the process of the forming and developing in Yong Jing accent in this research is guiding researchers to reveal the most original environments and transitions in Yong Jing Township in order to offer reference of locality education.
