- 中文摘要:近年來各國無不努力保存自身文化特色，也以自己擁有的傳統文化為榮，而台灣近年來對於本土性文化的發揚保存，也正如火如荼的展開，諸如龍舟賽也慢慢走向國際化對國人來說可說光榮至極，對於其他民俗體育產生莫大鼓舞。本研究目的是探討一、龍舟競渡與東港鎮環境、歷史及宗教文化背景的關係。 二.龍舟競渡在東港鎮的實況與發展三.東港鎮龍舟競渡的維護與發揚。本研究方式是以歷史研究法及文獻分析法為主，田野調查為輔得到以下結論: 一、龍舟競渡是祖先紀念屈原傳承下來之儀式並融入地方特色。 二、龍舟競渡在東港鎮已發展成一系列親水、環保、宗教及文化觀光季活動。 三、為維護東港鎮龍舟競渡永續發展並發揚光大須透過政府鼎力支持，學校的教育訓練及社會各界的努力。
- 英文摘要:In the 21st century, special cultures have been preserved and promoted by all nations in the world . The authority of Taiwan has also tried to encourage all people to promote Chinese culture. For example，the sport of rowing dragon boat has become popular with the world. The purposes of this study were to explore: 1、The relation between Dragon boat sport and circumstances and history of Dongan，Pingtung。 2、The current circumstances and development of Dragon boat in Dongan，Pingtung。 3、The promotion and maintenance of Dragon boat sport in Dongan，Pingtung。 The approaches employed in the study were historical research and document study。Field survey was also supplemented。Following are conclusions of this study: 1、In the past，Dragon boat Festival was in memory of Qu Yuan。Now it is gradually mixed with native culture 。 2、Dragon boat Festival has become a oceanic、green and cultural tour season。 3、Through the help of nation 、school and all people，it is necessary to protect Dragon boat sport against disappearance。
