- 中文摘要:「民宅」是組成任何一個聚落的主要元素。 在台灣客家建築歷史悠久並自成一格，架構在樸實的建築元素與風格中，街屋為客家最早形成之建築形式之一，社會客觀的條件下客家建築形式與行為漸漸佚失與同化，有鑑於此，本研究依據「客家街屋」建築空間的組成與日常生活進行調查，試圖以實地住居、採訪測繪、口語紀錄、彙整分析等方式釐清客家街屋在使用變遷上的機制，街屋空間的組成與使用，常因為各家條件考量因素的有所不同，新與舊在客觀的條件下成為一種必然的趨勢，其空間長成的機制亦成為有趣的議題。 本研究以南部六堆客家聚落中發跡較早的「內埔」作為研究對象，試圖以街屋建築之空間分析其組成與使用變遷，發掘客家日常生活與行為之特殊性。 本論文討論主軸有四： 一.客家街屋的特質與演變機制 街屋在狹長空間的密集串聯下所隱藏之空間序列，為街屋的形式密碼，可藉由序列之分析與模擬了解現代與傳統街屋之異同。 二.居住者對於街屋空間之使用行為 空間的實質意義為人類使用而定，故在空間生成時即已定義空間屬性，空間經由時間等客觀因素的影響下，在其定義與使用上有其變化機制。 三.新舊案例空間之組成與分析 研究範圍中一百一十八間街屋新舊夾雜，新中有舊、舊中有新，目前空間上已呈現多樣的組成，為變遷研究中價值與操作性較高的案例。 四.非尋常的客家祭祀行為 祭祀行為成為客家生活中重要的一環，研究過程發覺其文化特殊性，並記錄保存此特有文化資產，成為本研究論文中之行為研究篇章。
- 英文摘要:The “common residence” is the principal composition of any settlement. The Haa-ka people’s architecture has a long-standing history and its distinctive style stands out among the others. Laid in a plain framework of architectural elements and expression, the street houses are one of the earliest formations of the Haa-ka architecture. Under objective social conditions the architectural form and behavior of Haa-ka traditiona has been gradually assimilated and deprived of. This study investigates formation of architectural space and daily lifestyle taken on in the Haa-ka street houses under consideration of these circumstances as an attempt to clarify its mechanism of transition by on site occupancy, interview, survey, colloquial documentation, categorization, and analysis. Street house formations often reflect the varied conditions in each family, proven to be inevitable under objective terms propagation of the new and the obsolete space become a very fascinating topic. The subject of this study is “Nei-pu” which rose earlier amongst other Liu-dui southern Haa-ka settlements. Its purpose is to excavate the particularity of Ha-kaa lifestyle through analysis of street house formation and use transition. There are four main axes to this thesis: 1. Development mechanism and speciality of Haa-ka street houses Special sequence concealed under the dense array of long and narrow street houses are the hidden codes to its formation. Comprehension of the difference between modern and traditional street houses may be achieved through analysis and simulation of the sequence. 2. Inhabitant behavior upon employment of space The substantial significance of space depends on how it is used; hence its attribute is defined at the time of formation. Influenced by objective factors such as time, there is a transformational mechanism in the definition and purpose of space. 3. Analysis of new and old space formation cases There are one hundred and eighty new and old street houses mixed into each other in the investigation ambit, in which there are new ones that posses traditional portions and old one that have new adjustments. The space appears to have multiplex structures at present, which are more operable and more valuable cases in the research of transition. 4. Extraordinary Haa-ka religious rituals The acts of religious rituals have become important parts of Haa-ka lifestyles. Its specific characters were discovered and documented through the course of research, which its remarkable heritage have became part of this thesis.
