- 中文摘要:媽祖信仰對台灣而言是一個移民信仰，並在臺灣落地生根、蓬勃發展。本論文主要是以苗栗縣竹南鎮中港城堡的內外兩座媽祖廟，即中港慈裕宮與后厝龍鳳宮做為研究對象。 首先，藉由竹南鎮地理人文及早期金銀紙業發展，來還原追溯孕育兩座媽祖廟的大環境為何？並探討竹南地區的媽祖信仰情況；其次，在兩宮的歷史研究沿革中，論述各自的創建年代及拓建歷程，以及台灣寺廟好建大神像之迷思；再者，以中港慈裕宮的洗港祭江為例，探討宗教祭典所呈現的時代意義；最後，探究兩宮的祭祀圈範圍的演變與寺廟管理方式。 此論文的主要目地是希望對這兩座媽祖廟的各環節做一忠實的記錄與探究，盼能對當地的文史工作有所助益。
- 英文摘要:The faith of Matsu is an immigrant belief. It puts down roots and develops rapidly in Taiwan. The research subjects of the thesis are two Matsu Temples inside and outside the fortress of Chung Gang, namely Chung Gang Ci Yu Temple and Hou Cuo Long Feng Temple in Chunan in Miaoli County. First, the thesis traces back the background of the two Matsu Temples by exploring the geographical and cultural features of Chunan and the development of the early gold and silver paper industry. It also discusses the faith in Matsu in Chunan. Second, the thesis discisses the two temple’s establishment era and developing progress by researching their history. Furthermore, take the harbor washing for worshiping river in Chung Gang Ci Yu Temple for example, the study probes into the significance of the age represented from the religion worship ceremony. Finally, the thesis investigates the development of the worship scope of the two temples and examines the ways of managing the temples. The purpose of the thesis is to faithfully record and explore every aspect of the two Matsu Temples. It is hoped to benefit the local literature and history.
