本幅款印皆仿作,梅雀的筆法形制源自邊文進,顯示呂紀向其學習的淵源。山茶花葉沿襲<秋鷺芙蓉>風味,但行筆設色均較沈滯,不如其條線自然流暢,色彩溫潤,應為一清代仿作。(20120105)&* Both the seal and signature on this work are imitations. The brushwork of the plum blossoms and sparrows derives from that of Bian Wenjin, suggesting Lü Ji having once studied from him. The camellia leaves and blossoms also follow the style in “Autumnal Egrets and Hibiscus,” but the brush movement and coloring is relatively stagnant, unlike the natural flow of Lü Ji’s lines and his mild and agreeable colors, making this probably a Qing dynasty imitation.(20120105)
