- 簡介:"Body spindle shaped, female 142μm long, male 139μm long, shield design with median line from base to basal 2/3, admedian lines complete, with 3 transverse lines connecting to median line at basal 1/4, 2/4 and 3/4, scapular tubercles set near rear shield margin, setae directed to rear, leg segments normal, coxal area smooths, empodium simple, 5 rayed. Opisthosoma dorsum arched, opisthosoma seta normal, coverflap with several dashed ridges on either lobes. Infesting on lower surface leaf of Paederia scandens, no apparent damage was observed . Distribution on Taiwan. This species is close to V. qadripedes Shimer, 1869.體呈紡棰形，雌性體長約142μm， 雄性體長約139μm，硬皮板網紋中線由基部至基部2/3處，臨中線完整，在基部1/4，2/4 及3/4處各有一橫線與中線相接，背毛瘤靠近硬皮板後沿，背毛向後，足部節正常，足毛正常，基部區域光滑，羽爪為單形，具五裂，後體部背板拱形，腹毛完整，性蓋上具有十二條左右縱脊，棲息於雞屎藤（Paederia scandens）葉背上，無明顯為害症狀，分佈於臺灣全島。本新種近似於V. qadripedes Shimer, 1869。"
