- 簡介:"Abacarus eminens body spindle shaped, female 179μm long, male 154μm long, shield with protuberance between the scapular tubercles, shield design with many dashed lines, median line faint, discontinuous, scapular tubercles set near rear shield margin, setae directed outward and upward, leg segments normal, coxal area with granules, empodium simple, 6 rayed. Opisthosoma dorsum with median ridge shorter than submedian ridges, opisthosoma seta normal, coverflap with about 12 longitudinal ridges. Infesting on Schefflera octophylla, making blisters on the both leaf surfaces. Distribution at low and median elevation all over Taiwan. This species resembles A. goaensis Mohanasundaram, 1980. Abacarus eminens體呈紡棰形，雌性體長約179μm， 雄性體長約154μm，硬皮板在二背毛瘤間凸起，硬皮板上具有許多短線，中線模糊，不連續，背毛瘤靠近硬皮板後沿，背毛向外及向上，足部節正常，足毛正常，基部區域具有顆粒，羽爪為單形，具六裂，後體部背板有三脊起，中脊短於二側脊，腹毛完整，性蓋具有十二條左右的縱脊，棲息於江某(Schefflera octophylla)上，於葉二面造成水泡為害狀，分佈於全臺灣中低海拔。本種與A. goaensis Mohanasundaram, 1980相近。 "
