- 簡介:"Idioscopus taiwanus 體色為棕色；複眼綠色，頭頂在接近複眼處具一黑色斑點；在頭楯前為黑色；雌蟲在後頭楯基部具一對黑色斑點，在雄蟲則無；小楯板在接近基部處具一對黑色斑點，之間區域黑色；前翅棕色，翅前緣，第4端室和附加物為暗棕色。本種與 I. niveosparsus 有些類似，但 I. taiwanus 體型較小，顏面較簡單，且陰莖的附器是來自尖的端部，而 I. niveosparsus 顏面則有豐富的斑紋且陰莖附器是由鈍端突出。本種之另一獨特特徵在於尾端節腹緣具一小形刺狀突起。本種之寄主植物為芒果。本種敘述引用黃坤煒 (1992) 之文獻。General color of Idioscopus taiwanus brown; eyes green, vertex with a black spot close to each eye; anteclypeus black; postclypeus with a pair of black spots at base in female, absent in male; scutellum with a black spot near each basal angle, area in between black; tegmen brown, costal margin, 4th apical cell and apex of appendix deep brown. The trivial name makes reference to Taiwan. Although smaller, it is somewhat similar to I. niveosparsus. The face of the first is ornamented simply and the appendages of the aedeagus arise from a pointed apex, whereas in I. niveosparsus the face has abundant markings and the appendages of the aedeagus arise from a blunt apex. The small spine-like projection on the ventral margin of the pygofer in the new species is unique. The host plant of this species is Mangifera indica Linn. The description of this species based on the description of Huang (1992)."
