- 中文說明:舊社會的結婚過程中，一切禮節習俗都靠媒婆牽線和張羅，功德無量。所以迎親行列中少不了媒婆轎，雖然造型較簡樸，仍不失其敬重和酬謝媒婆的意味。
- 日文說明:旧社会の結婚に於ける礼節習俗の多くは仲人を通じて行われる。結婚行列に仲人駕籠は欠くべからざるもので、駕籠 は仲人に対する尊敬と感謝を表わす。
- 英文說明:In marriages of the past, matchmakers were indispensable. They attended to all customs and ceremony, so the matchmaker's sedan chair was always included in the wedding procession. Although less ornate than that of the bride, the matchmaker's sedan chair was a sign of reverence and gratitude.
