- 中文說明:竹弓由一片竹子做成，兩側突起綁弓弦，射時竹面向外，台灣原住民皆打獵，因此，竹弓使用甚為普遍，早期如泰雅族人亦用竹弓在河中射魚。
- 日文說明:竹の一片で造った弓、両側が突き出て弓の弦を結ぶ、射る時は竹の面を外に向ける。台湾の原住民は猟で普通的に竹弓を使用している。早期のアタヤル族人は竹弓で河の中の魚を射る。
- 英文說明:This bow is constructed from one piece of bamboo. The bowstring is attached to the curved ends of the bamboo, the surface of which faces outward when shooting. Aboriginal Tribes in Taiwan were all hunting tribes, thus the bow was a commonly used tool. The Atayal also used bows of this kind to hunt for fish in rivers.
