- 中文說明:古稱阮咸，是北管樂器之一，以兩片圓木板組合而成，因為像月形而具琴聲，故稱為月琴。雖然音律較高，但握柄上有四根軫軸可以變化調整。
- 日文說明:昔は「阮咸」と称し、北管楽器の一つで、二つの円木板で組み合せて造ったもの。月形に似て琴声ある故に「月琴」と云う。北管福禄派の拉絃楽器である。その外観から見て、「殻仔絃」とも云う。
- 英文說明:Referred to in ancient times as a ruanxian, this is a major instrument in the Northern Wind Instrument Style. It is made of two round pieces of board and is called a 月琴 (yueqin, literally “moon instrument”), due to its shape. Its pitch, which is relatively high, can be adjusted using the handles on the neck.
