- 中文說明:本件標本由一節竹筒做成，將竹筒鋸成兩節，上節為蓋，下節為身，蓋緣捆以繩以防裂開，原住民各族亦有此類竹筒器，作為醃魚醃肉之用，使用器身呈黑色，本件竹筒器因為穿用的繩子和器形外表，與原住民使用都不相同，因此，可能為其他族群所有。
- 日文說明:一節の竹筒で造ったもの。竹筒を両節に切断し、上節を蓋、下の節を身にする。蓋の縁は縄で縛って割れるのを防ぐ。原住民各族にもこうした竹筒の用器があり、魚や肉の塩漬けに使う。使用度によって器身が黒みがかっている。この竹筒は通してある縄と器の外形が原住民の使用するものと似ていない。
- 英文說明:This vessel was crafted by cutting a piece of bamboo in half and using the top section as a lid and the bottom section as the body. In order to prevent the container from opening, the lid was secured with rope. Used for preservation of fish and meat, every aboriginal tribe employed this kind of bamboo container. This particular sample may have been used by non aboriginals though, as the rope and outer surface are different than those used by natives.
