- 中文說明:油燈是煤油燈，點煤油照明之用。油燈的構造是鐵燈座和玻璃瓶，玻璃瓶上有「員林 雙鳥牌」之字樣，燈座是鐵製，可提；玻璃瓶內裝油，上有蓋子通棉線可點亮油燈。
- 日文說明:石油ランプで照明用のもの。鉄の灯座とガラス瓶の構造で、瓶の上に「員林、双鳥牌」の字があり、取っ手がある。ガラス瓶に油を入れて棉線を蓋まで通して火を点す。
- 英文說明:Oil lamps burned kerosene, and were used to provide illumination. These oil lamps were made with an iron base and a glass globe. The brand name is inscribed on the globe in Chinese characters. The base is iron and could be carried. Oil was placed in the glass globe and a wick introduced through the upper cover to be lit.
