- 中文說明:民間將竹子兩節做成管筒形，中間一節打通，底部的一節刺以小洞，要使用時，將芝麻種子放進管裏，整地完成要種芝麻時，將筒在地上挖的種穴上輕輕一敲，種籽就掉到種穴中，數目不會太多也不會太少，比用人工手播較有控制。
- 日文說明:竹両節で竹筒を造り、中間の節を突き通して、底の節に小さな穴をうがつ。使用する時、胡麻の種を筒の中に入れ、整地を終った地上に、種を穿った筒の穴から軽く叩いて、程よく落とす。人工で蒔くより調子がよい。
- 英文說明:This sesame seed planter is built from two sections of one piece of bamboo tubing. The bottom joint of the device has small holes bored in it. To use the device, sesame seeds were loaded in the tube and the land prepared for planting. The tube was knocked lightly when over a planting hole, causing seeds to fall into the hole. In this way, neither too many nor too few seeds would be planted. The method was more controllable than hand planting.
