- 中文說明:痰盂為早期人們吐痰裝痰之用，又稱唾壺，圖形大口，球腹，高圈足，擺放在客廳或臥室。使用前先加水半罐，痰吐在罐內，不要隨地吐痰。本件痰罐是由銅製造而成，形若喇叭。其年代約在民國初年。
- 日文說明:早期使われた痰壺は、口が大きく、円球の腹、高い円形の足で、客間または寝室に置いている。使用する時は水を半分位入れて、痰を壺の中に吐く。この品は銅製で、喇叭の形をしている。1910年頃の品。
- 英文說明:Spittoons were used as receptacles for the contributions of early spitters. They feature large openings a rounded belly and high feet. They were placed in parlors or bedrooms. Before use, the spittoon was half-filled with water. Spitters would then use the spittoon instead of spitting on the ground. This example is made of bronze, and is trumpet-shaped. It dates from approximately 1911.
