描述：: 中文說明:本件藏品共二件成一對，長9㎝，寬5㎝。藏品以竹根製作，取凹形老竹根，去其竹身和其他細根，然後將其破成兩半而成杯筊。杯筊是民間用於問神，問的結果苦兩塊面向下稱陰告，面向上為陽告，若一上一下為聖告，問事以聖告為吉。本藏品部份損壞，年代久遠。; 日文說明:凹形の竹の根で、長さ9cm、幅5cmに造った二片で一組とする杯筊は神に吉凶を聞く占い道具。; 英文說明:This is a bwabway set which consists of two halves of bamboo root, 9 centimeters long and 5 centimeters in width. Concave shaped roots from older bamboo are selected. After the stem and smaller roots are removed, the root is split in half to become bwabway, which are used to ask the gods questions. They are tossed onto the ground and if both lay flat, then the answer to the question is not good. If one faces up and one faces down, the answer is ambiguous.
