英文說明:Made by hollowing out a single piece of wood, the middle of this red lacquered wooden fish has a hole in it. The top is decorated with carved patterns and painted gold. The fish is held by its “tail” away from the head to get better resonance when striking it. Used with the ching bell, the wooden fish is indispensable in Buddhist Halls when reciting Buddhist scripture. This example is in good condition, because it has not been used a great deal.
