The strips were considered to bring luck and ward off evil. This example is made of yellow silk with flowers and birds embroidered on it. The strip is joined with black silk thread into a triangular form. The top portion has three rows of fringe. The piece dates from the ROC era, and exhibits lovely workmanship.
